These conjoined exhibitions celebrate the work and teaching of the late master craftsman George Ingham.

George Ingham - Designer Maker is a retrospective survey bringing together for the first time works from public and private collections representing George's practice in Australia. Included are pieces made as part of his instruction of students and many of his superb drawings.

Chairs of the Alumni: the ongoing narrative explores the current practices of 31 of the students who studied under George. In responding to the brief to design and build a chair, each alumnus reveals the interplay of their own personalities and development with the legacy of George's influence.
